Ring the Bells
I wanted to take a rare moment for a self-congratulatory note about Schwartz Communications' award winning night yesterday. Schwartz swept the Publicity Club Bell Ringer Awards (the "Golden Globes" of the PR industry,) garnering 22 awards. Many of these were for healthcare. Details follow.
SCHWARTZ COMMUNICATIONS WINS 22 AWARDS: 13 BELLS AND NINE AWARDS OF MERIT AT 2007 BELL RINGER AWARDS
Agency Recognized for Outstanding Health Care, High-Tech and Consumer PR Campaigns
WALTHAM, Mass.-June 12, 2007-Schwartz Communications today announced that it won 13 Bell Ringer Awards and nine Awards of Merit, more than any other public relations agency in the 2007 competition. Schwartz was recognized for its work in a number of health care, high-tech and consumer categories and received both Bell Ringer Awards presented for Best Health Care Campaign. It received two awards for its work on behalf of Cyberonics, PowderMed, Ltd. and ResMed/Respironics respectively and three awards for its work for Cytyc Corporation.
The awards were announced last night at the annual Publicity Club of New England Awards dinner in Boston. The Bell Ringer Awards were created by the Publicity Club to recognize excellence in public relations. This is the sixth time in seven years that Schwartz has received more than 10 Bells for work on behalf of its clients.
