
Liz Woodhouse Vice President of Human Resources
Liz Woodhouse brings 13 years of strategic human resources experience to the role of vice president at Schwartz Communications. She is responsible for all facets of human resources, including organizational development, risk management, performance management, recruitment, employee orientation, employee relations, retention, compensation, benefits and employee training.
Prior to joining Schwartz, Woodhouse began her career at The Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams), where she developed and implemented a national college recruiting program. After five years at Sam Adams, Woodhouse moved into the publishing sector working for Pearson Education and Thomson Course Technology, where she steadily increased her human resources responsibilities and focused on strategic management, employee development, recruiting and training.
Woodhouse holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the State of New York College of Oneonta. She received her Human Resources Certification from Bentley College and went on to get her M.S. in human resources management from Emmanuel College.
Woodhouse is an active member of the New England Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and the Society of Human Resources Management. Most recently Woodhouse volunteered for the committee to secure speakers for the NEHRA Employer of Choice conference held in May 2009.
