
Avi Dines Vice President, Accounts and Digital Services
Avi Dines brings more than 20 years of communications experience to the role of vice president at Schwartz Communications, where he specializes in the growth of high tech clients and is one of the leaders of a rapidly growing digital content services team. Since joining Schwartz in 2000, he has served as trusted advisor to numerous emerging growth technology providers, guiding them from early stage, including stealth mode, to industry standouts.
In his digital role, Avi oversees the sales, development and full-service production of video, audio and social media digital content. The company has created digital content for dozens of clients, including GE Healthcare, WellDoc, Joule and Sitel.
As vice president of accounts, Avi not only drives his clients’ strategies and sets the direction for his teams, but is an in-the-trenches manager serving multiple roles on each of his accounts. At Schwartz, Avi has emerged as an enterprise software expert with significant experience and accomplishments in many areas, including information security, open source software and application performance. Avi’s clients have included InnoCentive, Digium, Secure Computing, Configuresoft (now EMC), Red Hat and many others.
Avi has secured favorable client coverage in an array of top business and consumer media outlets, including Investor’s Business Daily, Barron’s, CIO, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Boston Globe, CNET and IDG News Service, and many more. He has also garnered extensive coverage for his clients in publications serving many vertical industries, including manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and military.
Prior to joining Schwartz, Avi spent seven years in publicity and promotions at National Amusements, a Massachusetts-based international movie theatre chain and parent company of Viacom. Before that he worked at The Walt Disney Company’s Buena Vista Home Video division.
